For the year 2021 the International Council of the Cricket (ICC ) had stated to award the best performing player of the month. The player whose performance is best over the other player will be awarded. This award will motivate them to do better in the field of cricket.
As this award was first given to India’s wicket keeper Rishab Pant in January 2021 in Men’s category and in women’s the first award was given to Shabnim Ismail of South Africa. Starting 3 month January, February and March was awarded to the Indian Players.
