RBI has released the vacancy of 950 posts of RBI assistant

Reserve Bank of India has released the vacancy of 950 posts of RBI Assistant. For the various offices of the RBI throughout the country. The exam will be conducted in the two phases that are in Preliminary and mains exam. And also the language proficiency test will be taken.

RBI is the central governing bank of India. It regulates all the Bank of India both the Government and private banks. It has various offices throughout India. RBI is requiring the manpower for the post of assistance in its various offices so this vacancy has been released. All the graduated aspirants have the golden opportunity to be a part of the RBI.

Eligibility for the RBI Assistant

  • All the Indian Citizens are eligible for the post of Assistant in Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
  • Age limit is 20 to 28 year. Candidates must have been born between  02/02/1994 to 01/02/2002.

Relaxation in the Upper Age limit:

  • Scheduled Caste (ST)/ Scheduled Tribe (SC) of  5 years.
  • Other Backward Class (OBC) of 3 years.
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) of 10 year for General and EWS , 13 years to OBC and 15 years to ST/SC.
  • Widows/ divorced Women   of 10 year.

Education Qualification for RBI assistant

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks and have knowledge in word processing on computer by 01.02.2022
  • A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen should either be a graduate form a recognized university or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence Service.
  • Candidates should know the language(read, speak, write)  of the particular state or office  in which office he/ she is applying for. You can check the notification for the language that needs to be known  for applying in that particular state.

Pattern of exam to be taken in RBI assistant

Exam pattern will be same as the IBPS and SBI clerk level exams. Subject of Preliminary mains Examination, exams will be of multiple choice

Total of 200 mark and the time will be 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Language proficiency test – The candidates shortlisted from the main on-line examination will have to give a language test. The language proficiency test will be conducted in the official/ Local language of the state concerned in the notification. Candidates not proficient in the Official / Local Language shall be disqualified.

There will be negative marks for each wrong answer in the objective test in both preliminary and Main examination of 1/4the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Salary pay scale of the RBI Assistance

Pay Scale Basic pay will be of 20,700 and including all the allowance it will be Gross approximately 45,050.

Examination fees for RBI assistant exam.

  • Examination fees will only be accepted in the online payment mode.
  • Rs 50 for ST/SC /PwBD/EXM.
  • Rs 450 for OBC/General/EWS.

Photography image.

  • Recent colour picture of passport size.
  • Dimension 200*230 pixels
  • Size of the file should be between 20kb-50kb.
  • File format should be .jpg.

Signature image

  • The applicant has to sign in white paper with Black ink pen.
  • Dimensions 140*60 pixels.
  • Size of the file should be between 10kb-20kb.
  • Should be in .jpg format.
