.“Super-75” scholarship scheme

  • Jammu & Kashmir has launched a “Super-75” scholarship scheme for meritorious girls, on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2021
  • This scheme Support the Education of Meritorious Girls Belonging to Poor Families.

Gharoki Pechan, Chelik Naam”

  • The scheme was launched by the Uttarakhand government.
  • Programme and development scheme worth Rs 42 crore in Nainital
  • The government is working towards women empowerment and 32,000 women groups of the state are being linked with self-employment to make them self-reliant.

Maa canteens

  • West Bengal government launched “Maa” canteens.
  • Subsidised cooked meals for the poor and the destitute at a nominal cost of ₹5.
  • The govt will give a subsidy of ₹15 and people have to pay ₹5.
  • The kitchen will run by Self-Help Groups (SHG).
  • The government allocated ₹ 100 crores for this project.

Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha’ Scheme

  • Delhi government, a scholarship programme.
  • The Delhi cabinet has approved “Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha” in which Rs 5,000 will be provided to 1,000 meritorious students of Class 9 in schools of Delhi as a science scholarship.

  • Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan launched the Scheme.
  • The programme will be providing free coaching to the students who are economically backward but are academically brilliant aspirants of civil service and other competitive exams.

 “Mahabahu-Brahmaputra” initiative

  • Prime Minister has launched the “Mahabahu-Brahmaputra” initiative in Assam.
  • The program aims at providing seamless connectivity to the Eastern Parts of India. It includes various development activities for the people who are living around Barak and Brahmaputra rivers.

  • Uttar Pradesh has announced the opening of registration for Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana for Free Coaching

  • CHIRAAG (Chhattisgarh Inclusive Rural and Accelerated Agriculture Growth )
  • World bank sign a project to support Nutrition-Supportive Agriculture in Tribal-Domination Areas of Chhattisgarh.

‘Jalabhishekam’ Water Conservation Campaign

  • Madhya Pradesh constructed 57,000 water structures under the ‘Jalabhishekam’ Water Conservation Campaign.

Ladakh Geothermal Power Project

India’s first Geothermal Power Project has been established at Puga village of eastern Ladakh. Puga has been identified as the hotspot of geothermal energy in the country by scientists.

Kerala state is going to open its First Human Milk Bank. 

Pragyan Bharati scheme

  • Assam has launched two schemes to provide monetary assistance to college students and literary bodies of the state.
  • Under the Pragyan Bharati scheme, 3,26,046 college students were given rs 1,500 each for purchasing textbooks, while a total of Rs 161 crore was reimbursed for the free admission of 4 lakh eligible students.

‘Har Ghar Pani, Har Ghar Safai’

  • Punjab’s CM has launched the ‘Har Ghar Pani, Har Ghar Safai’ mission.
  • To accomplish the goal of 100 per cent potable piped water supply in all rural households by March next year.

PANKH Abhiyan

  • Madhya Pradesh CM has launched ‘PANKH Abhiyan’ for Girl Child, on National Girls child Day.
  • The scheme has been launched under the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ scheme for the empowerment and growth of the girl child.

‘Udyam Sarathi App’

  • Uttar Pradesh Government has launched the ‘Udyam Sarathi App’ for Youths.
  • The app will enable the youths to get every information related to self-employment and the job industry, across the state.

 Avalokana software

Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa has launched Avalokana software, that will enable the government to access data on sanctions and expenditures incurred by 39 departments on 1,800 programmes implemented by them.

‘Mukhyamantri Bagayat Vikas Mission

  • Gujarat has announced the formation of the ‘Mukhyamantri Bagayat Vikas Mission’.
  • The aim is to accelerate agriculture, horticulture and promote the farming of herbal plants. It will also create employment opportunities through an increase in the export of such products.

Ghar Ghar Rozgar te Karobaar Mission

Punjab has launched “Ghar Ghar Rozgar te Karobaar Mission”.

  • To create the necessary framework to facilitate Wage and Self-employment for the unemployed people of the State of Punjab.
  • To improve employability through skill training/skill up-gradation.
  • To identify areas having potential for employment generation and to harness that potential with government intervention.

LaunchPad Scheme’

Madhya Pradesh has rolled out the ‘LaunchPad Scheme’ to make youth self-reliant. 

  • It is being started for boys and girls coming out of child care institution and having completed 18 years of age.
  • The objective of this scheme of the women and child Development Department is to provide such a platform to these youth, through which they will be able to become self-reliant by continuing their education and training.

 Kisan Kalyan mission 

Uttar Pradesh Government has recently launched the Kisan Kalyan mission to double the farmer income.

Kisan Fasal Rahat Yojana

Jharkhand has launched a crop relief scheme- Kisan Fasal Rahat Yojana.

  • Jharkhand’s crop relief scheme will replace the PM insurance scheme.
  • It will cover both landowning and landless farmers, no premium needs to be paid in the scheme.
  • Crop damage will be assessed through direct observation, in case of post-harvest damage assessment will be done on the basis of a sighting. Gram Sabha will also play an important role in reporting damaged crops by farmers.
  • Compensation from 0.1-5 acre of land, compensation ranges from 3000-3500 per acre depending upon the loss.

‘Pedalandariki Illu’ 

Andhra Pradesh has launched the housing programme ‘Pedalandariki Illu’ (housing for the poor).

SEHAT” Health Insurance Scheme

PM Modi has launched the “SEHAT” Health Insurance Scheme for Jammu & Kashmir.

This scheme will cover the remaining One crore population which was not covered under Ayushman Bharat Scheme.
